customer intersection 1 Filter to the customers who purchased in a and b, but not c.  For this example show customers who purchased in Furniture and Office Supplies, but not Technology.
relative period comparison Compare the N current months to the same N months one year previous.  Order the months chronologically.
associative logic Create a filter that shows the sales for selected versus unselected.
stacked bar chart sorting Sort the bars in a stacked bar chart by a chosen region of the stack and place that region at the bottom of the stack to help visualize the sorting.
comparing attributes within a dimension How do sales from one year compare to sales of all other years?  Allow a user to compare sales from a chosen year to all other years.
customer intersection 2 List all the customers who made purchases in both a & b.  In this example list only the customers who made purchases in both bookcases and envelopes.
customers above average List the customers who have above average number of records in the data set.  Create a bar chart showing that number.
customers who purchased in more than 1 year Filter to only the customers who have made purchases in more than one year.  Display a bar chart of the number of customers.
filter to max date Show the sales for the most recent date within each category.  A relative filter does not work in this scenario because it is tied to a single date.
